    Mahishasura : Demon Buffalo King

An ambitious and arrogant buffalo-headed king who was granted a boon that convinced him he could evade death by man, overlooking the fact that a woman could (and did) take him down. The legend of Mahishasura cautions us against chauvinistic behaviour, the greed of our ambitions and the false sense of security rooted in arrogance.
