About Airavata ऐरावत
The Elephant of the Clouds
The majestic white elephant Airavata is the ancient king of the animal kingdom. As the mount of the king of the gods and lord of thunder and lightning, he is understood to be a powerful force within the skies. Transferring water between the oceans and the clouds, he facilitates the end of droughts and flourishing of the land, thus is revered as a symbol of auspiciousness, wealth and power.
